New router still had the same IP and MAC, so I'm guessing they assign it according to each flat.Īnd no, it's not just my PC, I can't access Rockstar or Social Club via any other of my PC's and phones. Oh and I also forgot to mention that I recently got a new router after my old one bricked itself during a reset. I'm here to ask if I should ask my ISP (I live in Europe, Lithuania, doubt anybody knows the ISP, just in case, the ISP is: Splius) to change the IP address and if that would cost me anything. The ISP assigns IP's using the routers MAC address as I live in a apartment, so turning it off and on to get a different IP won't work (already tried), I believe they reassign a new IP every 2 weeks, but it's pretty annoying being completely locked down to limited data VPN's or free VPN's that don't work 50% of the time. The issue stems from me not being smart and not using a VPN for said glitch, even with 1.5h intervals it blocked the IP. Also, my account isn't banned for said glitch, I can play fine with a VPN, though, you'll see why that's an issue. Now the issues is that I've been facing similar issues due to a new glitch in GTA Online, where if you disconnect at the right moment during a heist, you'll receive the money and not have to spend another 1.5h doing preps and worrying that you'll get less money due to a different primary target. For almost a week now, I've been having issues connecting to the Rockstar and Social Club services, this has happened to me before when I had to disconnect and reconnect multiple times due to overall network issues, this caused Rockstar to flag my IP and block it.
